Please list in order, the top 5 International Referees at present, in your opinion.

Please only list 5, and don't put any joints in there, don't sit on the fence make a choice.

I'll collate all the names and give them a score for their positions, this should then give us a fairly good idea of who this forum feels are the proper top 5.

Then we can see if we believe it is accurate.
 
For me, currently:

Maurius Jonker (Even though he appears to have been dropped, I really like his style).
Jonathon Kaplan
Wayne Barnes
Mark Lawrence
Nigel Owens


The bottom 3 were very hard as I believe Rolland & Joubert are exceptional too, however, when I see the 5 people above, I feel the game is going to be well managed.

Small based on when i've seen him ref GP matches. well there's got to be a bolter in there somewhere, and Steve Walsh is a tad obvious...

I have no doubt Walsh will be back up there this time next season.
 
Interesting Stuff and at the moment it's very tight.

Only one person has given no points to Barnes (Ian Cook) However when Rolland has been on a list he has mostly scored in the top 3.

Kaplans position is 5th is in danger from Joubert, however all other referees fall quite far by the wayside.

Be interesting to see with a few more votes.
 
Both added, no change to Ranks though Joubert is now falling quite a bit behind Kaplan.
