Where are you this weekend? - 2024/25

Port at half time?

I did Farnborough vs British Library once, earlyish in my career. No-one warned me.
"Want a drink at the half ref?"
"Sur-whattheeffwasthat?"
No port but a good day out and no shortage of Guinness in the club afterwards. Young uns won 54 - 24 i think despite some dodgy decisions to keep the old farts in it.;)

St. Benedicts v Egremont Cumbria L7. 4th v 3rd . A nice friendly West Cumbrian derby to start the year off. Hopefully trains on and a few beers afterwards.

Sunderland v Stockton L7 Counties D&N 1 - Unbeaten 1st vs mid table, although Stockton game down to this division last season so won’t count them out

Frozen off last weekend so giving the Cumbria exchange another go, Counties 1 L7 Wigton vs St Benedict’s - 1st vs 4th

(Virtually) attending my local society AGM as a final act before I hand over the keys to the cash box. Four good years, but very much ready for someone else to shoulder the load.

Saying on as treasurer for the regional society, as ironically it's a lot less work on the whole.

after a couple of weeks off in India, didn't see one set of rugby posts or found a Guinness, a little train ride round the duddon estuary for Millom v Workington and a few beers afterwards ☘️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍻
