Where are you this weekend? 2013-14

I had a L7 league game today. Tasty, player indiscipline ruled the roost and we ended up with double figures on the card count. Never happened to me before, very ineffective skippers and no player response to prevention. Coaches afterwards said it was the strongest refereeing of the season and we had a good chat, the outcome was that players from both sides need to grow up! Which is quite good I guess, they didn't blame me. Still, will chat it through with my coach tomorrow.

Double figures on the card count and still not listening, did you consider red for repeats?
Interesting my last game had 28PKs (level 6) yet no one expected more cards and all think I had a good game, madness.

This week I have picked up a tasty level 3 game :) (apparently a number of influential characters will be watching me).

Saturday there aren't many games on so I am going to the Rugby Lions v Goole, RFU Junior Vase Semi Final, as a representative of the Society, Chairman's Buffet and all :bday:

Sunday I have an U19 Colts memorial match at Southam RFC, for a young colt who died a couple of years ago.

Monday I am taking my boys to the Red Marley classic hill climb, just down the road from my gaff here in rural Worcestershire. Never been to one before, but its supposed to be good fun.........and there's a beer tent......................and my oldest is driving :bday:

I watched Goole last weekend.

Two quick wingers, a good #10 (on his day) and a ponderous pack. They've won Yorks 3 (L9) with a bit to spare. I imagine they'll be ready for the drop into Yorks 3 this time next year.

Just found out the Navy are playing Worcester Cavaliers tonight at six ways. 1930 kickoff.

Think I will drive down for an unexpected evenings entertainment. No entry fee, just donations into buckets for charity.

I think your finger must have slipped and hit level 3 by mistake:pepper:

Massively busy weekend now.
Friday NO5 for Glasgow v Ulster @ Scotstoun.
Saturday NO4 for RBS Finals day at Cumbernauld, Ladies Cup.
Sunday AR/IGJ down at Berwick 7s, some top teams entered.

Think Sunday could be a train ride then a few beers afterwards and make the most of the Monday off work!

It's Easter. Official rugby has a weekend off in NL. Various tournaments or trips going on but I've promised the Mrs a rugby free Easter. Hopefully we'll be able to watch the Ulster game Friday so look forward to catching glimpses of you Matty!

Off to watch a development referee at top of table L6 postponed match Windsor (3rd) v Oxford Quins (promoted champs).
I haven't been to Windsor RFC since late 70s for a Sevens tournament and in the match v London Welsh spent 14 minutes chasing TGR Davies around and never getting near him.

Well we won the second half  Navy has 5 or 6 players off with a mystery bug............must be on loan from the NZ Navy

Some of the Worcester Academy players were incredibly fast.......couple of England U19s in there.

Really enjoyable game to watch.

They might get a run for their money next wed against the crabs.

I can't wait. The only thing is the next day I'm refereeing 7's at Bury St Edmunds. I fly in on the Friday from Vegas. Saturday ARMY V NAVY. Sunday 7's. It's going to take some time getting over that I think

What a great game! Two good teams (for their level), nail biter to the very end. Well reffed by a team of three from the Panel.

Rugby Lions won 21:17
