Super rugby line out offences blatantly ignored, fair contest?

Ciaran Trainor

Referees in England
I’ve just watched this week’s highlights on you tube and virtually every line out resulting in a try, the lifters are in front of the catcher blocking defenders, players joining and binding in front of ball carrier and these offences are blatantly ignored by officials. Not just criticising super rugby btw, just happened to see it.
The elite game just seem to accept this as the norm but for me, not withstanding the allowable not straight law in the line out, which I hate, this is not a fair contest.
Why are these obvious offences ignored?
I, foolishly perhaps, thought our game was based on a fair contest.
Really p*ss’ me off!.
For the record, I do like watching the super rugby highlights.

isnt this where we get reminded that the coaches and refs decide which laws to let go for the sake of TV "entertainment" ?

Its the elite game. Whatever.

?

Leinster v Northampton first line out, Leinster players split before the throw, the same as in my first post.

To my mind it detracts from the basic tenets of the game competition and equity.

On a positive note I just watched some U20 highlights SA v Aus and the TMO intervened after an SA catch and drive in the line highlighting props in front of the catcher, Try disallowed 👏. So it can be done, Hopefully things will change.

Leicester v Bath Premiership Final:

Commentator that does not understand the laws "Ruthless efficiency! One scrum penalty, one clean line out, one clean try!"

Poor decisions by players that made the difference but why are these not reviewed by the TMO - It is C+O. Three players left the line before the ball is thrown and give impetus to the maul.

I note the early jumper (early jump by the opposition nearly always affects the throw by timing or trajectory) -who also happens to land in a useful position for any subsequent maul; funny that.
