Hooker Dan Sheehan has been banned for four matches, which will be reduced to three if he completes World Rugby's coaching intervention, for his clearout in the British and Irish Lions' final Test defeat by Australia.

Effectively 3 match ban for deliberately targeting the head of a player and putting him out of the game. A real cheap shot and IMO a very lenient punishment.
Doubt he'd have only got 3 matches in my neck of the woods!
I saw it replayed during the match as obviously the broadcaster saw it but officials and TMO didn't. . Looked red all day long.
Follow up question, does anyone know how far back in a game the ref could deal with serious foul play, which this was, if the TMO spots something and give a red?
