Yes - @Dave Elliott , I have entered posts on windows laptop (firefox) and iPad via F and Safari - no option to edit a post.

no reason you should not be able to, ive check the permissions for you and it states you can

No, no option in either platform - the images were from 2 different posts. Sorry for the confusion.

Just responded to a thread with a windows laptop on Chrome after logging off, clearing cache, and logging back in- still no option.

Had a poke around and saw this in the message footer:

can you go to another thread, and see if you have the option there, may be a lock down on this section. Try in the normal refs area, or question forums see if the option is there please?
