    [6N] Tmo farce

The game has 'progressed' to the point where sometimes a 'qualified' persons sits and reviews tv screens/replays & then makes a decision above the referee. That's it, that's the decision. Game values = Respect whatever decision is made & move on. I suspect Welsh have had the benefit of...

Sadly, whilst the Unions continue to put this monkey firmly on referees, liability stays with you. (Whispers) - conspicuously there seemed to be no published investigation into this incident...

NatWest 6 Nations 2018 Championship - talking points

My bad. I thought you were suggesting that an Ireland away win was predictable. IMO it was far from being so.

[Maul] Uncontested maul. Edinburgh v Glasgow. Why was this allowed ?

If C&O 'Latching' prior to engagement with a defender was outlawed i'd applaud. Sadly the 'repeat possession' agenda is curtailing the possession contest IMO. I do not believe RU's USP of the contest for possession is being best served by 30/40/50+ phases of repeat possession that sometimes...

[Maul] Uncontested maul. Edinburgh v Glasgow. Why was this allowed ?

No No No, don't! Flying wedge banning at a FK/PK where the opposition are 10m away is a safety issue, based on mass & velocity - In lineouts the opposition are supposed to be 1m away which means there is zero chance of a velocity based injury risk. There is simply no justification for...

    Power Play?

If the agenda is to have more space on the pitch by reducing numbers to 13-a-side then it's a useful evolutionary stride, failing that it's needs filing away in the 'bad trial idea's' cabinet at WR's creative thinking dept.

Ireland v France - HIA issue

I'd like to see the system changed, I don't really see a problem with the French Scrum half [who'd already been replaced ] from being allowed to rejoin the match. Ireland wanted to profit from the injury of their opposition 9 to play out the remainder of the game 'without a true 9' in situ &...

    Abusing referees

In General, players [and spectators] get the level of referee that their level of players skill/expertise deserves. If they are good enough to be a semi pro player or above then they'll get a semi-pro referee etc The community spectator needs to understand that community referees are...
