    [Law] Pre-match chat with captains

I muck about frequently with my briefing, frequently everyone, sometimes just front row andc captains. Usually talk about discipline, sometimes specific laws that are on my mind. But its been said, they all listen and nod their heads, then ignore you so I then question what is the point...

    3 questions :P

I know I'm a bit late to reply to this, but the highlighted text is very poorly understood by players. Any running into a team-mate leads to shouts of offside no matter whether there was advantage or not. Very unplussed players if you do not penalise this (though when has that ever stopped us!)

    Straight up thuggery

I'm late to this thread and ignoring all the off topic stuff. Back to the video. WT absolute F! Unprovoked assault on a defenceless player, blimey. I don't condone retaliation but White were incredibly restrained.

    [INTERNATIONAL] Beale YC

Going back to earlier posts, when I saw this I thought like the referee that Beale could have grounded first if he had not offended. Some posts suggest once he had offended you assume he wasn't there and what would probably have happened then? (i.e. White try). Is that right?

    [Tackle] Penalty .

I'm thinking stick with the first offence. Tackler does not release, penalty advantage. Tackled player then offends, back to original penalty as no advantage has accrued. Thoughts?

    So. Lungs then

How do you feel and how does high intensity work impact you? I would suggest a partially collapsed lung would make it very difficult for you to be as active and mobile around the pitch as you usually are. Would you be happy being behind the game, having difficulty recurring from a sprint phase...

    Unsportsmanlike

What do people think if the ball had not been placed up the jumper? Still a penalty or play on? If play on I'm surprised we don't see something like this more often as it's very difficult to tell which of the 15 players sprinting away actually has the ball.

    ATP and cheating hookers

I'm with the first reply, penalty was appropriate event if you hadn't FK'd. You had asked and told, they hadn't listened, you can clearly argue this is deliberate offending, PK to stop it happening again is fine in my book. It's not your fault if players refuse to listen to you. Frankly there...
