There’s one for the books that is the first result the QBE number cruncher failed to predict correctly this 6 Nations tournament.

:pepper: Funny not much comment from our English members on the result, yet.

I've only just got back from the ground, having a cuppa.

Totally deserved victory, England thoroughly shut out.

England tactics for most of the game seemed to be variations of giving any possession back to Scotland.

In terms of talking points:

1) I still don't understand why Launchbury was penalised after being spoken to, releasing the ball, NO runs through defensive line, no advantage being played UNTIL pass was intercepted. Lacked any credibility and honestly, I can't sugar coat it, looked like bias against the team in white.

2) I was also baffled at the consistency re off-feet between white and blue players. Not withstanding some excellent work by Barclay and Scotland clearly having the upper hand.

I know it sounds like sour grapes, but if it walks like a duck.

So, you are accusing Nigel Owens of being biased. Just making it clear.

Perhaps some of the finer points of the LotG are beyond some England supporters?
Express said:
First, Danny Care intercepted a Scotland pass and ran in under the posts only for Owens to blow up for offside.

England then went over again through Farrell but Owens spotted a knock-on in the build-up and chalked it off - rightly.

It angered English fans on Twitter with hundreds taking to the site to slam the Welsh ref.

What point in the game was the Launchbury incident? Video would be helpful, not all of us have watched the game. One would have expected Eddie Jones to quip about it, if he felt it was a poor decision - ESPN post match

The next time anyone wonders why people hate England, paste this.

You're right, it does sound like sour grapes. Know why? It is. You were beaten on the day by the better team. Scotland post what you just did, we get accused of bleating. Why should you be any different? I thought NO got stuff that I wouldn't have called, but it cut both ways.

In other worlds, accusing the referee of bias cops a multi week ban. I'd like to think that in this forum we can rationally discuss decisions without resorting to accusations of bias.

That's a dick move.
